20 years of Solventure

Solventure marks an important milestone: 20 years of helping organisations grow with clarity, structure, and better decision-making. What started in 2005 as a small team with a bold ambition has grown into a trusted partner for companies navigating increasing complexity. 

Two decades later, the foundation remains the same: connecting data, processes, and performance to unlock sustainable impact. 

How it started

The early years were shaped by exploration. Finding the right solutions, defining a clear vision, and understanding how Solventure could help companies bridge the gap between strategy and execution. 

A key moment came in 2009 when Bram De Smet joined as CEO. With experience at the crossroads of technology, planning, and business performance, he helped bring focus and structure to the organisation. 

Bram: "Our mission has always been to help organisations make better decisions. Over the years, that mission did not change, it matured." 

Growing through partnerships 

Another defining step came in 2007 with the partnership with Arkieva. It opened doors for European expansion and allowed Solventure to actively contribute to product development. 

The management buyout in 2016 strengthened Solventure’s independence and entrepreneurial drive. From that moment on, the company accelerated its growth and continued to broaden its expertise.

Innovation that drives momentum

Solventure has grown steadily in recent years, with an average of around 25 percent annually. That growth is supported by continuous investment in its own solutions, focusing on orchestrating and harmonising data to support better decisions across the organisation. 

The professionalisation of the Board of Directors in 2019 added strategic depth and helped Solventure prepare for the next phase of growth.

A people driven organisation

One element has remained constant throughout Solventure’s journey: its people. The open culture, the willingness to collaborate and the drive to improve are visible in every team.

From onboarding young graduates to supporting senior experts, Solventure invests intentionally in development. As the company grows, so do the opportunities for its people. 

What comes next

As Solventure celebrates two decades, the focus naturally shifts to the road ahead. In the coming years, the organisation will continue to build depth in: 

  • Integrated planning across functions 
  • Connecting financial and operational decision-making 

The business environment is becoming more complex. The need for connected planning, transparency and alignment is stronger than ever. Solventure is ready to guide organisations through this evolution.
